Home Nursing, Senior Home Care, Family Paid Elderly Care

There was a time when years ago, people who had suffered an accident that led to paralysis, had a heart stroke or broken a bone, were left with no other living alternative other than a nursing home. Fortunate cases were able to obtain help and care from friends and family members. Presently many are able to receive care at the comfort of their own surroundings by hiring home health aides.

Medical study has shown that recovery at home is quicker and less expensive than hospital/nursing facility stays. These at-home helpers provide most of the same services as hospital nurses: giving medications, checking pulses and temperatures, dressing and assist with braces or artificial limbs. These aides also help with non-traditional services, such as light house cleaning or cooking, helping patients exercise, errand running or help with the kids.
